Le quatorzieme jour de fevrier de l'année 1689
apres la publication de trois bans entre Martin Casaubon
sargent de la compagnie de Mr. Amerssé, fils de Jean
Casaubon marichant de St Jean de Luz, evêché de Bayonne
et de Françoise Maisonnoeufve ses pere et mere d'une
part et Françoise Lepelé fille de Jean Lepelé habitant
de Champlain evêché de Québec et de Jeanne Isabelle ses pere
et mere d'autre part, ne s'estant trouvé aucun empeschement
legitime, je soussigné prtre curé de Champlain ay pris leur
mutuel consentement par paroles de present, et leur ay
donné la benediction nuptiale selon la forme de notre
mere la Ste Eglise en presence de Pierre Claude de Rameré
chantier, Seigneur de Nesse, Montigny et Mont Fleurant
capitaine d'un detachement de la marine, et de Jacques
Brosset habitant de Champlain, le premier a signé, l'autre
a fait une autre marque en place de signer ce interpellé de
signer suivant l'ordonnance.

The fourteenth day of February of the year 1689
after the publication of three bans between Martin Casaubon
Sargent of the compagny of Mr. Amerssé, son of Jean
Casaubon merchant of St-Jean de Luz, diocese of Bayonne
and of François Maisonnoufve his father and mother on the one
part, and Françoise Lepelé daughter of Jean Lepelé resident
of Champlain, diocese of Québec and of Jeanne Isabelle her father
and mother on the other part, having found no legitimate impediment
I the undesigned priest pastor of Champlain received their
mutual consent by word and presence, and imparted upon them
the nuptial blessing according to the form of our
mother the Holy Church in the presence of Pierre Claude de Rameré
cantor, Lord of Nesse, Montigny and Mont Fleurant
captaine of the naval detachment, and of Jacques
Brosset resident of Champlain, the first signed, the other
made a mark instead of signing as required signing
according to the ordinance.
