vingt dix sept a été inhumé dans le cimetière de cette par-
oisse par nous soussigné le corps de Marie Josephe
Davis veuve de François Martineau, decedé l'avant hier
dans le Bourg agée de soixante dix sept ans, étaient
presens a la sepulture François et Jean les Martineau
fils qui ont declaré ne savoir signer de ce enquis suivant
l'ordonnance.

the thirteenth of the month of March the year one thousand seven hundred
ninety-seven was buried in the cemetery of this parish
by us the undersigned the body of Marie Josephe
David widow of Françios (?) Martineau, who died two days ago
in the Bourg at the age of seventy-seven years,
present at the burial were Francois and Jean Martineau
the sons who declared not knowing how to sign as required by
the ordinance.
