(required attendance on the following dates:)Jan. 10: Meeting with First Communion parents
Feb. 7: First Communion class and their parents will be presented to Kateri Community at 10AM Mass during a “welcoming rite.” You will be given a copy of the ceremony before hand so that you can practice with your child. Please come to Mass a half hour earlier.
Feb. 9: Companions on a Journey at 5:30PM Attendance at this meeting is part of your child’s preparation for reception of the Eucharistic Sacrament. The focus of the meeting in February is the Eucharist and the Mass. We are asking all parents and children to attend this meeting as part of their commitment to First Communion Preparation.
April 7: Parent Meeting ( Details for Preparations for FC/Penance)
April 25: Msgr. meets with children (during CCD class time)
May 13: Family Gathering: “ An Evening of Reflection”
May 16: Sacrament of Penance
May 22: Rehearsal (9AM)
